Product Designer UI/UX

Responsibilities:

• To work on new and exciting products which will be shaping the future within the cyber security education/learning sector 

• Working with a design led approach to break through traditional learning giving the opportunity and independence to push the boundaries of design 

• Working within a design centric culture, you will take ownership of the products and be part of a growing design team 

• Be heavily involved in conducting extensive user research to find ways to improve products for users e.g. user interviews, usability tests, workshops

• Build low fidelity prototypes to test new functionality and iterate on existing products with users 

• Collaborate with both front and back end developers to implement designs to an extremely high standard 

• To create user flows and wireframes to be able to understand and improve the user journeys throughout the product lifecycle 

• To design engaging and functional user interface 

• To create extensive and robust component libraries in tools such as Figma 

Qualifications / Skills and Experience:

• A Design related Degree 

• Exceptional knowledge of design fundamentals 

• Experience of coming up with design solutions for complex problems 

• A solid understanding of responsive design, usability considerations and accessibility 

• Previous experience conducting extensive user research to improve a product experience 

• Experience interviewing users, analysing product analytics and other research approaches 

• Strong working knowledge of Figma and a solid appreciation of other leading design and prototyping tools i.e. Sketch or similar 

• Self-motivated and excited to be part of a new venture
